Chaitra 3, Palpa – The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has officially dissolved the Tansen Municipality Committee. In a meeting held Tuesday, the party dismantled the municipal committee along with 14 ward committees.

Chairman Guras Atreya explained that following a review of the recent parliamentary election results, the decision was made to dissolve current committees and form more agile and competent ones based on worker preferences.

The meeting also resolved to conduct the municipal convention on Jestha 3, coinciding with Madan Ashrit Memorial Day, and to hold ward committee conventions within the next three months.

During the meeting, UML candidate Thakur Gaihrai thanked the voters for their support. Additionally, the ward committee chairpersons provided localized briefings on the election outcomes.
