Kathmandu – The internationally acclaimed business reality show ‘Shark Tank’ is set to begin its second season in Nepal. Following the success of the first season, Himalaya Television has accelerated preparations for the new season.
Applications are now open for entrepreneurs interested in pitching their business ideas in the upcoming season. Interested candidates can apply by submitting the application form via Himalaya Television’s official website.
Himalaya Television has stipulated that applicants must be Nepali citizens, have their business registered in Nepal, and have at least one balance sheet submitted to the tax office.
The screening process for applicants is scheduled to be completed within two weeks, after which the shooting schedule will be set for the month of Baisakh, said Himalaya Television’s Executive Director, Shyam Kadel.
In the first season, approximately 80 entrepreneurs showcased their business ideas, resulting in investments totaling around NPR 3.5 billion. Executive Director Kadel added that the goal for this season is to mobilize NPR 5 billion in investment.
