Iran Vows Decisive Revenge for the Assassination of Larijani

March 17, Kathmandu – Iranian military chief Amir Hatami has expressed a firm commitment to retaliate for the killing of Ali Larijani, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

He warned that they would avenge the deaths of Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and other ‘martyrs’ who were killed on Tuesday.

Hatami stated, “At the right time and place, we will deliver a decisive response to the criminals—the United States and the bloodthirsty Zionist regime—that will serve as an example to others. They will regret their actions.”

Iran has confirmed the death of Secretary Larijani on Tuesday. Earlier, Israel had claimed responsibility for Larijani’s assassination.

According to news agency AFP, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has already launched missile strikes in central Israel in retaliation for Larijani’s death. The IRGC is a separate entity from the Iranian military.
