March 18, Kathmandu. The Bagmati Province squad for the Prime Minister (PM) Cup One-Day Cricket Tournament has been announced. The Bagmati Province Cricket Association declared a 15-member team led by spinner Sandeep Lamichhane as captain.
The squad includes Sandeep alongside Ishan Pande, Ashutosh Ghireiya, Uttam Thapa Magar, Shivam Tiwari, Vivek Ranamagar, Daya Nand Mandal, and Rijan Dhakal.
Additionally, Subash Khatri, Sonu Devkota, Sachin Lekhak, Ringzin Lama, Pawan Bahadur Thapa, Pratish Jishi, and Shubh Kansakar are also part of the team.
Rit Gautam, Surya Tamang, Dipesh Shrestha, Adil Khan, and Avinash Basyal have been selected as reserve players.
The PM Cup cricket tournament begins on March 20. Bagmati will play four matches in Kathmandu before contesting the remaining fixtures outside the capital.
Bagmati’s first match is against APF Club on March 21 at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground. The second game is scheduled for March 23 against Gandaki Province at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground.
The third match will be on March 25 against Nepal Police Club again at Upper Mulpani, with the fourth and final group match on March 28 versus Tribhuvan Army Club also at Mulpani.
