Lumbini Province Government Initiates Preparation to Operate Provincial Project Bank

4 Chaitra, Lumbini—The Lumbini Province Government has begun preparations to operate the Provincial Project Bank.

In today’s Provincial Cabinet meeting, the guidelines titled “Provincial Project Bank (Operation and Management), 2082” were approved, marking the start of the process to establish the project bank.

According to the Province’s Health Minister Khem Bahadur Sare, the directive aims to systematically select, manage, and implement priority projects in the province.

Minister Sare also informed that the meeting decided on the placement of employees recently promoted at various levels and the reassignment of secretaries’ responsibilities in the province.

Following the meeting, additional responsibilities were assigned as follows: Vinod Lamichhane was given extra duties as Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law; Narad Gautam received additional responsibilities as Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives; and Divakar Bhandari was appointed Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development.

In the provincial health services, Roshanlal Chaudhary was appointed Chief Public Health Administrator at the Provincial Health Directorate.

Dr. Rajendra Kumar Giri was posted as Chief Public Health Administrator at the Provincial Supply Management Center in Rupandehi.

Similarly, Dr. Mohammad Nurul Hoda was assigned to Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, and Dr. Padmaraj Adhikari to Gulmi District Hospital. Dr. Shakuntala Kumari was appointed as Chief Consultant Medical Generalist at Rampur Hospital, Minister Sare added.

The meeting also appointed Dr. Anup Thapa as Chief Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. Bhuvan Paudel as Chief Consultant Surgeon, Dr. Surendra Kunwar as Chief Consultant Anesthesiologist, Dr. Pushpraj Joshi as Chief Consultant General Physician, Dr. Krishnahari Suvedi as Chief Consultant Pediatrician, and Dr. Prabhat Pokhrel as Chief Consultant Dermatologist at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.

Furthermore, Dr. Gopal Prasad Gyawali was given responsibility as Chief Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.

In the provincial engineering services, Anil Marasini was appointed Superintendent Engineer at the Transport Infrastructure Directorate. In provincial forestry services, Ishwori Prasad Paudel was assigned the role of Chief Forest Director.
