March 18, Kathmandu – Election Commissioner Sagun Prasad Jabara has been honored with the ‘Best Ex-Serviceman’ award.
Recognizing the contributions of former servicemen, the Nepal Army annually presents this award to one outstanding ex-serviceman.
This year, the award was presented during a ceremony held on Wednesday on the occasion of Ghode Jatra by Chief of Army Staff General Ashokraj Sigdel.
Jabara retired from the Nepal Army with the rank of Major General after 30 years of service.
The Army stated that Jabara has demonstrated dedication to the nation and made significant contributions to society both during his service and after retirement, exhibiting exemplary discipline, leadership, and a strong commitment to service.
According to the Nepal Army Secretariat, this award aims to highly appreciate the contributions of former servicemen and boost their morale.
