Chait 5, Gulmi – Two individuals were injured this morning in a truck accident on a dirt road in Harsara, Ward No. 5 of Satyawati Rural Municipality, Gulmi.
The accident occurred while a Pepsi-Cola loaded truck, bearing the number Lu 2 Kha 5373, traveling from Burtibang to Butwal was reversing.
The driver, 34-year-old Keshav Gyawali from Jaykuti, Ward No. 11, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, Rupandehi, sustained injuries to his left leg and above his left eye. Another passenger on the truck, 31-year-old Yadav Gyawali from Shankarnagar, Ward No. 1, Tilottama Municipality, Rupandehi, suffered injuries to his nose, right hand, and left leg, according to police reports.
Both injured individuals were transported to Johang Primary Health Center in Gulmi for treatment, and their conditions have been reported as stable.
A team dispatched from the Johang Area Police Office, led by Deputy Inspector Narendra Bikram KC, conducted the rescue operation at the site of the incident.
