He conveyed this while receiving the report on the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21, prepared by the Election Commission.
On Thursday, at the presidential residence Sheetal Nivas, the Acting Chief Commissioner of the Election Commission, Ram Prasad Bhandari, formally presented the report to the President.
“The House of Representatives election conducted on Falgun 21 was completed in a free, fair, and fear-free environment, fulfilling the commission’s responsibilities successfully,” stated the President. “This has enhanced public confidence in the Election Commission and the electoral process, and I have sensed that it has further strengthened democracy.”
