ANFA Temporarily Suspends Women’s National League Matches

March 19, Kathmandu – The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has temporarily suspended matches of the Women’s National League.

The decision comes after the suspension of the Men’s National League following a directive from the Immigration Department.

According to ANFA’s Chief Executive Officer Indraman Tuladhar, the women’s league will remain suspended starting Friday until further notice is issued.

Since its commencement on Wednesday, four matches of the Women’s League have been completed. Tuladhar added that they will hold discussions soon to determine the league’s future.

The Immigration Department recently issued a letter to ANFA instructing that foreign players on tourist visas should not participate in the competition.
