Proposal to Hold Nepali Congress Student Union’s 12th General Convention on April 20-21


March 19, Kathmandu – The 12th General Convention of the Nepal Student Union (Nepali Congress’s student wing) has been proposed to be held on April 20 and 21. During the Senate meeting of the union that began on Friday, Chairperson Dujang Sherpa put forward the proposal to organize the convention on those dates, in line with the planned schedule.

According to the proposed schedule, on March 31, representatives will be selected, and the representative list will be published. On April 8, conventions will be held at secondary schools. April 10 will see conventions at local levels, followed by campus, college, institutional, and CTEVT-affiliated educational institution conventions on April 12. On April 20, conventions will take place in 77 districts, with campus unit conventions on April 22 and 23. University campus committees and coordination committee conventions will be held on April 24 and 25, respectively. Finally, the provincial convention is scheduled for April 27, leading up to the central general convention on April 30 and 31.
