The lightning struck on Friday afternoon, injuring 32-year-old Goma Khadka, 28-year-old Niru Khadka, and 29-year-old Bishnu Khadka, according to police reports.
One of the injured is in serious condition, and they have been transferred to Gulmi Hospital for further medical attention, explained Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gangabahadur Saru from the District Police Office, Gulmi.
In addition to the people injured, three goats also died from the lightning strike at the same location.
