Iranian Foreign Minister Says: We Are Adding a New Chapter to Our 3,000-Year-Old History

March 21, Kathmandu — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, reflecting on Iran’s 3,000-year-old civilization, stated that a new chapter is being written in its long history. Amid the ongoing conflict between the United States and Israel, Araghchi conveyed via X that although Iranians remain outside the battlefield, they are nonetheless engaged in the war, marking the addition of a new chapter to this narrative.

“While our people face unexpected assaults, I extend my greetings to everyone on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz (the Iranian New Year),” he wrote. “Our ancient civilization carries a history spanning three millennia, which has protected Iranians from external threats in this region. Today, we are adding a new chapter to that story.”
