March 21, Kathmandu – The prestigious title of the eighth edition of the ‘Entertainment Table Tennis Championship’ was won by the team comprising Mahesh Shrestha, Diksha Dahal, and Rinoj Thakuri.
The tournament, organized by the Entertainment Table Tennis Organization (ETT), concluded at Bulls Health Club in Nakhu, Lalitpur. The team of Ravi Dhakkhwa, Allen Maharjan, and Bipul Maharjan secured the runner-up position, while Rakesh Maharjan, Swabeccha Nembang, and Pramesh Karki claimed the third place.
Suman Khadgi, ETT President and Vice President of the All Nepal Table Tennis Association, shared that the winning team is awarded an overseas trip, the runners-up will enjoy a trip to Pokhara, and the third-place team will receive mobile phones as prizes.
The tournament, held under the slogan ‘For the nation’s table tennis, for health,’ featured a total of 96 players competing, both male and female, according to organizer Sunil Shakya.
