Rastriya Swatantra Party Requests Chief Secretary to Manage Prime Minister’s Oath Ceremony

March 26, Kathmandu – The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has formally requested the Chief Secretary to coordinate arrangements for the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti urged the office to handle all aspects of the oath-taking event efficiently.
The newly elected members of the House of Representatives are scheduled to take their oaths today, March 26, while RSP senior leader Balendra Shah will take the oath as Prime Minister tomorrow, March 27.
The oath-taking ceremony will be held at 12:34 PM at Sheetal Niwas. The event will feature auspicious conch blowing by seven conch blowers, Vedic peace prayers recited by 108 youth, and an Ashtamangala reading by 16 Buddhist monks.
Following the ceremony, Balendra Shah is expected to assume office at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office in Singha Durbar at 2:15 PM.
