Two Suspects Arrested in Fraud and Criminal Breach of Trust Case Involving Rs 57 Million

March 26, Kathmandu – Two individuals have been arrested on charges of fraud and criminal breach of trust involving a total amount of Rs 57 million.

The suspects include 58-year-old Krishnaprasad Dangal from Shivchok, Panchkhal Municipality-2, Kavre District, and 28-year-old Sarita Guni from Khairahani Municipality-10, Chitwan. Both were apprehended by a team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office in the Kageshwari Manohara area.

A warrant for their arrest was issued by the Dhanusha District Court. Prior to this, the Chitwan police had filed two cases of banking fraud against Guni amounting to Rs 62 million, with sums of Rs 32 million and Rs 30 million respectively.
