March 28, Kathmandu – The police at Maharajgunj have decided to detain Nepali Congress UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, along with former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, at Police Battalion No. 2.
According to sources, after a medical examination, Oli will be transferred to Battalion No. 2. Lekhak has already been placed at the same battalion earlier.
Oli was taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for the health check-up. After being arrested this morning from his residence in Gunduli, he was held temporarily at Bhadrapur Police Headquarters before being taken to the hospital.
The police have stated that as today is Saturday, both individuals will be presented in court only on Sunday.
