According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabin Babu Regmi from Jumla, Kavita Budha, who resides in Guthichaur Rural Municipality-3, was arrested on charges of ethnic discrimination against local resident Raj Bahadur Sunar. On Sunday, a video emerged on social media showing Kavita Budha verbally abusing Raj Bahadur Sunar at a hotel in Kalekholi, the administrative center of Jumla. Following the release of the video, police took her into custody for investigation. However, there has been no official complaint filed by the victim’s side to date.
