Rajendra Mall: Unity Among Entrepreneurs Essential for Private Sector Development

Rajendra Mall, former president of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the necessity of unity among entrepreneurs and businesspeople to address the country’s economic development and private sector challenges. He made these remarks during the announcement of candidacies for executive committee members in the goods category at the 60th Annual General Meeting election of the Nepal Industrial and Commercial Federation.
Looking ahead to the upcoming federation elections, Mall expressed confidence in the capabilities of all candidates and extended his best wishes. He stressed that while winning and losing are natural aspects of elections, everyone must collaborate and move forward together after the process concludes. He expressed his belief that cooperation among various associations and institutions of the private sector is the only way to steer the nation’s economy in the right direction.
“The need of the hour is unity among entrepreneurs and businesspeople. There will be an election; some will win, some will lose, but once the election is over, we must join hands and proceed together,” Mall stated. “We have been cooperating over many years, and it is in this spirit of collaboration that we will continue to move forward.” He further added that all segments of Nepal’s private sector must unite to confront the current difficult circumstances.
