March 31, Kathmandu – The Immigration Department has placed businessman Deepak Bhatt on its blacklist. Bhatt has been implicated in an ongoing investigation concerning money laundering, leading to his inclusion on the immigration black list, sources have confirmed. The Money Laundering Investigation Department wrote to the Immigration Department on Monday, requesting that his passport be suspended, sources further revealed. There has been no official response from government authorities regarding the ongoing investigation to date.
