Youth and Sports Minister Sasmit Pokharel has announced plans to develop the Fapla Cricket Stadium in Dhangadhi into a world-class facility. Minister Pokharel assured that the management of resources and operations at the stadium would be made more efficient. Kathmandu, 24 Chaitra.
During an inspection of the Fapla grounds and interaction with players on Tuesday, Minister Pokharel stated, “The Fapla Cricket Stadium, with the largest area and ample seating capacity with a parafit roof, has reached its current status because the government has given it special importance. We will make the resource management and operations even more effective.”
After arriving at Fapla, Minister Pokharel also spent some time playing cricket with local youth players. Kailali MP KP Khanal and Rashtriya Swatantra Party leader Bhupadev Shah from Achham accompanied Pokharel on the visit. Pokharel, who also serves as Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, previously inspected the Far-Western University located in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur.
