According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning are occurring in some hilly and mountainous regions. This afternoon, full cloud cover is expected over Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, while partial cloudiness will prevail elsewhere.
Many places in these provinces, along with some hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces and parts of the Terai in Madhesh, Koshi, and Bagmati provinces, are experiencing moderate rainfall with thunder, lightning, storms, and hail.
