The 5th Gulmi Festival to Commence from April 24

The Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is set to organize the 5th Gulmi Festival in Tamghas from April 24 to May 6. Approximately 250 stalls will be featured, aiming to promote the agriculture, tourism, and trade sectors. According to Chairperson Mrigendra Prasad Shrestha, the festival will invigorate economic activities and generate employment opportunities.

The festival is designed to support the overall economic development and prosperity of Gulmi district. Under the theme “Pathway to the District’s Prosperity and Development: Business Growth Based on Education, Health, Agriculture, and Tourism,” the Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host the event in the district headquarters of Tamghas.

Operating from April 24 to May 6, the festival preparations include setting up around 250 stalls to ensure an organized and engaging event. Various business, industrial, and agricultural products will be displayed and sold during the festival. The organizers emphasize that the festival primarily aims to promote the agriculture, tourism, and trade sectors. Chairperson Shrestha stated that the festival will help energize the district’s economic activities, create jobs, and assist in bringing local products to national markets.
