‘Ram Naam Satya’: Distributor Shares Insights on Box Office Performance

Distributor Govind Shahi has reported that the film ‘Ram Naam Satya’ achieved strong business during the first two days of the Nepali New Year 2083. Actor Biraj Bhatt expressed enthusiasm after receiving cheers and support from audiences across multiple theaters in Kathmandu. The film features performances by Biraj Bhatt, Sushil Shrestha, Divya Rayamajhi, among others, and is directed by Michael Chand.

Kathmandu – Released to coincide with the Nepali New Year 2083 celebrations, ‘Ram Naam Satya’ recorded an excellent opening over its initial two days, according to distributor Govind Shahi. Shahi noted an increase in business on Saturday compared to Friday. Directed by Michael Chand, the film’s action sequences, storyline, and performances have been well received by viewers, who have even drawn comparisons between the film’s action scenes and those typical of Bollywood.

On Saturday, actor Biraj Bhatt visited several theaters in Kathmandu. At the Ashtanarayana Hall, over 1,200 viewers gathered around Biraj. The venue, with a capacity of 1,000 seats, was fully occupied, prompting organizers to screen the film in an additional 500-seat auditorium. Audiences enthusiastically cheered Biraj’s presence. Produced by Upendra Shahi and Shweta Bimali, the film has garnered positive feedback from viewers, which has left Biraj Bhatt visibly encouraged. He said, “I was unsure how the film would perform in the first two days, but the audience has appreciated it. This has made us very excited.”

The producers hope that the film’s box office earnings will further increase on New Year’s Day. Distributor Kuver Films has confirmed that business is also progressing well in theaters outside Kathmandu. Alongside Biraj Bhatt, the cast includes Sushil Shrestha, Divya Rayamajhi, Supushpa Bhatt, Sunil Thapa, Prashant Tamrakar, Ayush Singh Thakuri, Khushi Karki, and others. Presented by Michael Entertainment House, the film’s executive producers are Kishor Bhatt, Rajendra Bhatt, and Arjun Sunar. Co-producers Tejraj Chatout and Daman Bahadur Chand are also involved. Moti Karki serves as the creative producer, while Rajendra Acharya is the line producer. Distributed by Kafiya Films and Kuver Cine Distribution, the film’s soundtrack features music by Babul Giri, Arjun Pokharel, SD Yogi, and Nawaz Ansari.
