
Prem Lal Sah Kanu, the mayor of Devahi Gonahi Municipality in Rautahat, has joined the Janata Party (AJP) after being elected under the Communist Party of Nepal (UML). On Sunday, during an event held in Devahi Gonahi, Mayor Sah, along with Ward Chairman Rampravesh Patel and Ward No. 9 Chairman Birbahadur Sah, officially joined AJP. The party president and former minister, Prabhu Sah, warmly welcomed the leaders into the party.
March 12, Kathmandu – Prem Lal Sah Kanu, the mayor of Devahi Gonahi Municipality in Rautahat, has shifted his political allegiance to the Janata Party (AJP). He was elected in the last local election as a candidate from the Communist Party of Nepal (UML). During the event held on Sunday in Devahi Gonahi, alongside Mayor Sah, Ward Chairman of Devahi Gonahi-4 Rampravesh Patel and Ward Chairman of Ward No. 9 Birbahadur Sah also joined the Janata Party. AJP president and former minister Prabhu Sah extended his congratulations and a warm welcome to the new leaders joining the party.
