New Ministers Take Oath in Gandaki Province Following Cabinet Reshuffle

The Gandaki Province government has restructured its cabinet and administered the oath of office to new ministers. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Surendra Pandey, ministers including Govind Bahadur Nepali, Nand Prasad Nyaupane, and Jit Bahadur Sherchan have taken their oaths. This cabinet reshuffle follows the power-sharing agreement between the Nepali Congress and the Communist Party of Nepal (UML). April 15, Kathmandu.

The Gandaki Province government has undergone a cabinet reshuffle, with new ministers sworn in. Chief Minister Surendra Pandey leads the team, with Govind Bahadur Nepali appointed as Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development and Transportation; Nand Prasad Nyaupane as Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Drinking Water; Jit Bahadur Sherchan as Minister of Economic Affairs; Bhim Bahadur Karki as Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives; Yashoda Rimal as Minister of Industry and Tourism; Lakshman Bahadur Pandey as Minister of Health; and Namdu Gurung as Minister of Forests and Environment. This reshuffle marks the reorganization of the provincial cabinet.
