Nepali-Origin Vikas Scores Historic 309 in Japan’s Community Cricket League

In Japan’s ongoing Community Cup 40-over league cricket, 20-year-old Vikas Khadka, of Nepali origin, has delivered a historic performance. Representing Saitama Royals Cricket Club, Vikas scored an unbeaten 309 runs, setting the highest individual score in Japan’s cricket history. He struck 25 fours and 29 sixes off 129 balls.

Saitama Royals posted a massive total of 511 runs for 8 wickets in their 40 overs. Alongside Vikas, Shaka Mohammad contributed 68 runs, and Siddharth Khadka added 19. Chasing a target of 512, Tokyo Daredevils were bowled out for just 130 runs in 20.1 overs. With this commanding victory, Saitama Royals have firmly established themselves as strong contenders in the Community Cup.
