April 26, Kathmandu – According to the exchange rates set by Nepal Rastra Bank for today, the buying rate of the US dollar stands at NPR 150.50, while the selling rate is NPR 151.10. Similarly, the European Euro’s buying rate is NPR 176.36 and the selling rate is NPR 177.07. The British Pound Sterling’s buying rate is NPR 203.23, with a selling rate of NPR 204.04, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 191.63 and a selling rate of NPR 192.40.
The Australian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 107.63 and the selling rate is NPR 108.06. The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 109.95 and its selling rate is NPR 110.39. Singapore Dollar rates are NPR 117.95 for buying and NPR 118.42 for selling. The Japanese Yen for 10 units is bought at NPR 9.44 and sold at NPR 9.48, while the Chinese Yuan’s buying rate is NPR 22.01 and selling rate NPR 22.10.
The Saudi Arabian Riyal’s buying rate is NPR 40.13, with a selling rate of NPR 40.29. The Qatari Riyal is bought at NPR 41.28 and sold at NPR 41.45. According to the central bank, the Thai Baht’s buying rate is NPR 4.65 and selling rate NPR 4.67. The UAE Dirham buying rate is NPR 40.97, and the selling rate NPR 41.14, with the Malaysian Ringgit buying at NPR 37.96 and selling at NPR 38.11.
The South Korean Won (per 100 units) has a buying rate of NPR 10.18 and a selling rate of NPR 10.22. The Swedish Krona’s buying and selling rates are NPR 16.31 and NPR 16.38 respectively. The Danish Krone is bought at NPR 23.60 and sold at NPR 23.69. Nepal Rastra Bank has set the Hong Kong Dollar’s buying rate at NPR 19.21 and the selling rate at NPR 19.29. Kuwaiti Dinar’s buying rate is NPR 490.87, with a selling rate of NPR 492.82, while Bahraini Dinar is bought at NPR 398.57 and sold at NPR 400.16. The Omani Riyal’s buying and selling rates are NPR 390.90 and NPR 392.46 respectively. Similarly, the Indian Rupee (per 100 units) has a buying rate of NPR 160 and a selling rate of NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Additionally, commercial banks may offer different rates, and the latest updated exchange rates are published on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
