Two Dead and Three Injured in Collision Between Parked Truck and Indian-Registered Car in Kapilvastu

Two people lost their lives when an Indian-registered car collided with a parked truck in Piprahwa, Kapilvastu Municipality–12. Three others were injured in the accident and are currently undergoing treatment. The police have stated that an investigation into the incident is underway. Kathmandu, 13 Baisakh.

The deceased have been identified by the Kapilvastu District Police Office as 50-year-old Radheshyam Kurmi from Kapilvastu Municipality–11 and 55-year-old Chinni Kurmi from Shivraj Municipality–6. Those injured include 65-year-old Nandaprasad Dubey of Maharajganj Municipality–11, 28-year-old Motilal Kurmi from Shivraj Municipality–10, and 20-year-old Suresh Kurmi from Shivraj Municipality–11. They continue to receive medical treatment.

The incident occurred when a Scorpio vehicle, bearing the Uttar Pradesh registration number UP 32 CA 8434 and heading from Bahadurganj towards Taulihawa, lost control and crashed into a truck parked by the roadside with the number plate Lu 1 Kh 9549. The police have confirmed that further investigation into the accident is ongoing.
