An excavator accident occurred at Laifudanda on the Karnali Corridor in Jagannath Rural Municipality, Bajura, resulting in the disappearance of 18-year-old Mahesh Rawal. According to Police Inspector Naresh Bahadur Shahi from the District Police Office, the excavator lost control during road construction, leading to the mishap.
Search efforts for the missing young man are ongoing, coordinated by police teams and the Nepal Army. The accident, which took place on 13 Baisakh, fortunately left the driver and co-driver unharmed. Inspector Shahi stated that the search operation is actively continuing.
The incident occurred while a dozer (excavator) was digging the road at Laifudanda. Mahesh Rawal, a resident of Naraharinath Rural Municipality-2, remains missing following this accident.
