Press Release: The Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) is set to organize a three-day Nepal tourism promotion event in New Delhi, India, starting tomorrow. Led by HAN President Vinayak Shah, a 65-member delegation of Nepalese hoteliers will participate in the program. The Nepalese delegation is scheduled to hold B2B meetings with their Indian counterparts and will unveil special tourism packages aimed at boosting visitor numbers.
On 14th Vaisakh in Kathmandu, HAN announced that the event aims to bring together leading tourism professionals from Nepal and India on a common platform, with a key goal of increasing the arrival of Indian tourists during the summer season. The 65-member Nepalese hotel delegation, which includes HAN office bearers, board members, and representatives from member hotels across Nepal, will attend programs titled “Nepal – Marital Destination” on April 28 and “Nepal – Your Close, Beyond Imagination Holiday Destination” on April 29.
HAN further stated that the Nepal tourism promotional activities are supported by the Nepal Embassy in Delhi and the Nepal Tourism Board. Throughout the three-day event, the Nepalese team will engage in B2B discussions with Indian industry peers and participate in the “Nepal Tourism Evening” program.
The participating HAN member hotels plan to announce special packages targeting Indian families, group tourists, pilgrims, newlyweds, honeymooners, corporate clients, as well as travelers interested in nature, culture, and adventure tourism. Given the disruption of flights and increased airfare caused by the Middle East crisis, the Hotel Association Nepal expects a significant rise in Indian tourist arrivals in neighboring Nepal.
