April 21, Kathmandu – Narayandatt Paudel, Inspector General (IGP) of the Armed Police Force Nepal, was presented with the rank insignia. The insignia was directly conferred by Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Home Affairs. On Monday, the Council of Ministers decided to promote Additional Inspector General (AIG) Paudel to the role of IGP, the head of the Armed Police Force. Since April 18, following the retirement of former IGP Raju Aryal, Paudel has been commanding the Armed Police Force.
