Kickstart Secures Victory with Saru’s Goal; Sethu FC also Triumphs with Angila Included

In the Indian Women’s League, Nepalese midfielder Saru Limbu scored as Kickstart delivered an impressive 3-0 victory over Sesa Football Academy. Saru found the net in the 29th minute. Nigerian player Imem Peace Ision opened the scoring in the 17th minute, followed by Babisana Devi adding the team’s third goal in the 67th minute. With this win, Kickstart has accumulated 10 points and currently holds sixth place.
Meanwhile, Sethu FC, featuring Nepal’s national team goalkeeper Angila Tumbapo Subba, defeated Sribhoomi Football Club 2-1. For Sethu, Sumati Kumari scored in the 13th minute, Slinda Kom added another in the 20th minute, and Ghanaian player Philomena Abekah converted a penalty in the 38th minute. Sethu FC stands second with 19 points, while East Bengal leads the table with 27 points. Going forward, Kickstart will face league leaders East Bengal, and Sethu FC is set to compete against Nita Football Academy.
