In Siddhartha Municipality-10 of Rupandehi, 19 individuals were caught gambling at the Royal Kalinga Casino. The police confiscated NPR 95,500 in cash, 50 casino chips, and 17 mobile phones from them. (April 6, Kathmandu)
In addition, 10 people, including 51-year-old Chitrabahadur Ranabhat, were arrested for playing card games (Juvatash) in Kahunkhola, Ward 13 of Pokhara Metropolitan City. They were apprehended by the ward police office in Rambazar along with NPR 77,180 in cash and 899 playing cards. The raid was conducted last night by a team dispatched from the Lumbini Provincial Police Office in Dang and the District Police Office in Rupandehi.
