April 23, Janakpurdham – A leopard attack in Dhanusha has resulted in one person being injured. Kirtiman Bik, 48, from Mithila Municipality–7, Kemalipur, sustained injuries in the incident. This morning, a leopard was found trapped in a wire mesh fence in a field. Bik went to inspect the situation when the leopard attacked him, according to the Dhalkevar Area Police Office. The injured Bik is currently receiving treatment at a private health center in Dhalkevar. The leopard remains trapped in the wire mesh snare, and forestry officials along with a security team have arrived to conduct a rescue operation, police informed.
