He made this statement at an event supporting Republican candidate Burt Jones for the governor position in Georgia. Trump also mentioned ongoing efforts to reach an agreement regarding the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear program.
According to CNN, Iran is preparing to respond to the US proposal through intermediaries on Thursday. Ismail Bakai, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, stated that they will share their views on the US proposal with Pakistani mediators. Sources suggest that both the US and Iran are progressing toward an agreement to end the conflict. Iran has indicated that discussions on the US proposal are currently underway.
