April 8, Kathmandu – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran will not bow to pressure, even when confronted with challenges. Responding on Friday to the US attack on an Iranian military base in the Strait of Hormuz, Foreign Minister Araghchi clarified that while diplomatic efforts were ongoing, the United States displayed a dangerous tendency toward military aggression, but such pressure would not sway Iran.
“Is this merely a strategy to apply limited pressure?” Araghchi questioned. “Or is it some destructive plan that is once again pushing the American president into a new crisis?” He emphasized that regardless of the reason, the result will always be the same. “And that is Iran will never yield to pressure,” he stated.
Araghchi further refuted US intelligence agency CIA claims regarding Iran’s missile stockpiles, asserting, “Our missile inventory and launcher capability have not decreased by 75 percent compared to February 28. The accurate figure is 120 percent,” he declared.
