April 25, Siraha: The District Police Office of Siraha has arrested three individuals with narcotics from different locations. The police recovered a substance resembling brown heroin and Nitrazepam tablets from their possession. Two individuals riding a motorcycle bearing license plate Province 2-02-001 Pa 3212 from Dhangadhimai Municipality-1 were apprehended. The arrested persons include 35-year-old Devakant Chaudhary from Lahan Municipality-13 and another unidentified individual. During the search, 3.63 grams of a brown heroin-like substance were found in the pocket of the pants they were wearing. The police confirmed that both individuals along with the motorcycle have been taken into custody.
Similarly, based on information regarding drug trafficking near the Campus Chowk area in Golbazar Municipality-4, police arrested 22-year-old Loksingh Rajput, residing in Triyuga Municipality-9, Musaharnia, Udayapur. Ten Nitrazepam tablets were seized from his possession. All three detainees are currently under extended custody ordered by the Siraha District Court for further investigation, according to DSP Ramesh Bahadur Pal, spokesperson of the Siraha District Police Office.
