Meanwhile, the opening in Canada on June 12 will feature performances by Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Ellie Ena, Jessie Reyez, Michael Bublé, Nora Fatehi, Sanzoe, Vegedrim, and William Prince. From June 11 to July 19, the FIFA World Cup will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico with 48 top national teams competing for the title.
