MP Khatriwada Questions: When Will Those Who Opened Fire in the Janga Movement Face Jail Time?

RSWP lawmaker Rachana Khatriwada raised concerns about whether the sacrifices and blood of the injured and martyrs of the Janga movement have been forgotten. She expressed worry that justice has yet to heal the wounds of martyr families and victims. MP Khatriwada demanded accountability and asked when those responsible for firing on innocent people will be seen behind bars, calling for a cleanse of the judiciary.
April 11, Kathmandu – During a zero-hour speech in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, MP Khatriwada stated, “Today, the country is advancing into a new phase of transformation. But has the mandate that was based on the blood of the injured and martyrs of the Janga movement been forgotten?” She added, “Justice has still not been served to the wounds of the martyr families and the injured.”
MP Khatriwada questioned when those who opened fire on the Janga movement will be imprisoned. She said, “Those who fired on innocent citizens, attacking the dreams and future of our youth, when will we see those guilty behind bars among the general public? Our esteemed judiciary has become deeply compromised; it needs to be purified.”
