A tractor carrying construction materials met with an accident in Ratamate, Bhimesentapa Rural Municipality-2, Gorkha. Bikram Basyal, 13, from Ward No. 3 of the same rural municipality, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Gorkha. According to Rajkumar Shrestha, the Information Officer of the District Police Office, Basyal died this morning while undergoing treatment.
The tractor driver, Rajan Pariyar, 26, from Siranchaur Rural Municipality-8, sustained serious injuries in the accident. He is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital. The accident, which occurred on the night of Baishakh 30, has brought grief to the local community.
