A fire erupted in Hafabung, Maimakhola Rural Municipality-6, completely destroying the three-story mud house of Ramkumar Limbu. According to the District Police Office, approximately NPR 1.6 million worth of damage was caused by the fire. Preliminary investigations indicate that the fire started when six-year-old Aisa Limbu was playing with a lighter in the upper room of the house.
The fire, which broke out this morning, completely engulfed and destroyed Ramkumar Limbu’s home. Upon receiving the fire report, a police team dispatched from the temporary police post in Phakumba, along with local residents, worked together to control the blaze. Authorities have reported that no human casualties have been reported so far in connection with this incident.
