Seema Malhotra, the UK Minister responsible for Equality and Indo-Pacific Relations, arrived in Nepal on May 22 for a three-day visit. This marks the first ministerial-level visit from the UK following the formation of Nepal’s new government. The British Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, welcomed Malhotra in Kathmandu, stating that the visit will provide an opportunity to further strengthen the friendship and partnership between the two countries. During her visit, Minister Malhotra is scheduled to meet with senior officials of the Nepalese government and representatives of the Gurkha community.
