Nepali cricketers Ishan Pande and Gulshan Jha are set to participate in the EU T20 League held in Belgium. They have been contracted by the JB Bruges team. According to the information provided by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), other Nepali players will not be able to take part in the tournament due to their commitments with the Asian Games qualifiers. CAN spokesperson Chumbi Lama stated, “Only these two players are going to play there because the other players have to play with the national team.”
The EU T20 League in Belgium is scheduled to start on June 6, while the Asian Games qualifiers will take place from May 31 to June 9. The overlapping schedules have prevented other players from joining the tournament. Another player from JB Bruges, Anil Sah, is the team captain, and the Nepal A team is set to travel to Uttarakhand for matches. Additionally, Nepali T20I captain Dipendra Singh Airee is also contracted with JB Bruges.
