Police Deployed at Home of Kakroach Janata Party Founder Abhijit Deepak in Maharashtra

Maharashtra police have deployed security personnel outside the residence of Abhijit Deepak, founder of the Kakroach Janata Party. Deputy Police Chief of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Pankaj Atulkar, confirmed that the security arrangements were made under instructions from senior officials. Abhijit has reported receiving threats against himself and his family via social media.

Indian media outlets reported on Sunday that Maharashtra police were providing protection outside Abhijit’s home. According to BBC, a police official confirmed the deployment in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where Abhijit lives. Deputy Police Chief Pankaj Atulkar stated, “Following directives from senior authorities to secure Abhijit Deepak’s residence, we have provided police protection.”

He added, “One police van and an officer have been stationed at the location. We will maintain full focus on ensuring peace and safety at the site.” Abhijit shared screenshots on social media highlighting the threats he received. He also posted a video on Facebook showing a young man making derogatory remarks toward him and his family. Additionally, Abhijit announced via Twitter that the Kakroach Janata Party’s Instagram handle has been reactivated.
