Kathmandu – Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has launched her new book titled ‘Mitti and the Wild Cat’.

The book was unveiled during a program held on Saturday at the Army Officers Club in Sundhara, Kathmandu.

Karki, who also served as the head of Nepal’s interim government during one of the country’s most challenging periods, is the author of this book.

She expressed that the book, dedicated to her grandchildren, conveys immense love, hope, and a positive message.

The novel delivers themes of empathy, collaboration, love, and mutual dependence through the interactions between birds and animals. Its narrative is both intriguing and entertaining, making it engaging for readers.

Author Sushila Karki’s previous works include ‘Nyaya’ (Autobiography) and ‘Kara’ (Novel), which are among the best-selling Nepali books. Additionally, she authored well-known titles on ‘Gender Equality’ and ‘Feminism’.

Karki mentioned that this book serves as a valuable gift to children growing up in an era filled with uncertainty and confusion around the world.
