The National Sports Council (NSC) has recalled Chumbi Lama, spokesperson and member of the Nepal Cricket Association (NCA). Kathmandu, 25 May. The NSC has summoned back Chumbi Lama, who was nominated as a member and spokesperson of the NCA in Chaitra 2080 according to the association’s constitution.
According to Article 3, Sub-article (4) of Chapter 2 of the Nepal Cricket Association’s 2055 constitution, the NSC nominates ex officio members to the association. Following this provision, Lama was appointed a member of the NCA two years ago. After his nomination by the NSC, Secretary Paras Khadka also assigned him the responsibility of spokesperson for the association.
The recall letter states: “In accordance with the provision of Article 3, Sub-article (4) of the constitution, the representative member from the council to the association is recalled effective from 11 Jestha 2083 as per the decision dated 11 Jestha 2083.”
