OnePlus Plans to Launch New OLED Tablet Soon

OnePlus is preparing to launch a new Android tablet in the global market by the third quarter of 2026. This upcoming tablet is expected to feature an 8.8-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and an 8,000 mAh battery. It is believed to run on Android 16 software and is based on the ‘Oppo Pad Mini’ recently released in China.

OnePlus aims to introduce a new Android tablet with a high-quality OLED display that provides excellent visual performance. The device will include powerful hardware and a top-tier chipset. It is anticipated to be based on the Oppo Pad Mini, which was unveiled in China.

The OnePlus tablet will have a small and compact form factor with an 8.8-inch OLED panel supporting a 144 Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, known for its high performance and speed. Additionally, the device will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

Regarding the cameras, the tablet will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It will house a large 8,000 mAh battery and support 67-watt fast charging. The device will operate on Oxygen OS 16, which is based on Android 16.

The specifications closely match those of the Oppo Pad Mini released in China in April. It appears OnePlus plans to rebrand Oppo’s tablet for the global market. According to sources, the tablet may be launched in markets including India during the third quarter of 2026 (July to September). However, OnePlus has yet to make an official announcement regarding this device.
