Four Suspects Arrested for Stealing Gold Necklace

Kathmandu, 28 May – Police have arrested four individuals accused of stealing a gold necklace. The suspects include 29-year-old Janak Tamang from Lishankhuvakar Rural Municipality-7, Sindhupalchok; 30-year-old Man Kumar Tamang, also known as Simon, from the same area; 25-year-old Umesh Muktan from Konjosom Rural Municipality-5, Lalitpur; and 30-year-old Arjun Tamang from Namobuddha Municipality-7, Kavre. They were apprehended by a team from the District Police Office, Lalitpur.

The group is accused of stealing a gold necklace from a female passenger on a bus traveling from Koteshwor to Balkhu on 26 May. Upon receiving the report of the theft, the police promptly arrested the suspects along with the stolen necklace.
