15 Jestha, Kathmandu – The government is preparing to reduce its shareholding in Dhawadi Iron Company Limited located in Nawalpur. The procedure to operate this company through a public-private partnership model has been included in the budget speech for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. Dhawadi Iron Company Limited is entirely owned by the Government of Nepal. The company was registered at the Office of the Company Registrar on 9 Ashwin 2076 (September 25, 2019) and began operations from Falgun 2076 (February/March 2020).
