18 Jestha, Kathmandu – Journalist Kapil Koirala from OnlineKhabar was honored by the Dairy Development Board for his contributions in raising farmers’ issues and reporting on dairy-related news. The award ceremony was held on the occasion of World Milk Day, where Agriculture Minister Geeta Chaudhary and Secretary Dr. Rajendra Prasad Mishra presented Koirala with a certificate of appreciation.
Koirala, who reports for Himalaya Television and OnlineKhabar from Kavre district, was recognized alongside other distinguished recipients. Also honored at the event were Pushparaj Paudel, operator of the Exemplary Farmer Model Cow Farm; Vijay Dairy Producers Cooperative in Chitwan, Makwanpur District Dairy Producers Cooperative Association, Greater Livestock and Agricultural Cooperative in Ilam; Manojkumar Yadav, director of the dairy industry Suryauday Milk and Industries Pvt. Ltd.; Shiv Charan Tyat, director of Dairy Food and Beverages Pvt. Ltd.; and dairy expert Babukaji Pant.
